Flowing Water Shader
An update / preview of my flowing flat-shaded water. Lots of work left to do on it but I’m so happy to get this far with it. I’ve been stubborn to get this particular look working.
Refraction works, though it’s subtle. The key element is the vertex flow of the water, which I collaborated with shader-artist Edward del Villar on. The end of the video hints at how it’s done.
Next up I need to make a proper scene to show this off as a flowing river with depth effects, etc..
